About Ruihan "Renee"

Ruihan “Renee” Yang (she/they) is a New York–based stage manager. She is currently an MFA candidate in Stage Management at Columbia University. Born and raised in Beijing, China, she brings a cross-cultural perspective to her work. Selected credits include: Six Characters (La MaMa), IS GOD IS (Columbia Univ.); Nüwa in Fairyland (Chuang Stage), Puccini’s Il Trittico (Boston University), and Mars Concert 2025 (China tour). The Job

As the Social Media Coordinators for the Theatre Program, Renee and Matt are responsible for the social media platforms where Columbia Theatre productions are showcased and advertised. They are in charge of communicating with production teams, taking photographs and videos, and creating content to be published.
