About Matt

Matt Jachim-Gallagher is a stage management MFA candidate at Columbia University. He is from New Hampshire and graduated from Dartmouth College with a BA in Theater concentrating on stage management. He is excited to continue his stage management education and grow his skills. His selected credits include The Legend of Georgia McBride (Berkshire Theatre Group) 1776 (Berkshire Theatre Group), The Wolves (Dartmouth College), A Christmas Carol (Northern Stage), Pippin (Dartmouth College), Pretty Filthy (Dartmouth College), and Urinetown (Northern Stage).

The Jobs

As Social Media Coordinators for the Theatre Program, Matt and Renee are responsible for the social media platforms where Columbia Theatre productions are showcased and advertised. They are in charge of communicating with production teams, taking photographs and videos, and creating content to be published.

The Stage Management student faculty assistants serve as the bridge between the students, production staff, and faculty members to support the inclusive environment within the program and to help assist classes and the production assignments throughout the year.
