About Mari

Mari Tompkins is a New York based director and dramaturg. Most recently she worked as the Production Dramaturg for Chinese Republicans (Roundabout). As an associate director: Cracked Open (Theatre Row), The Moby Dick Blues (LaMaMa/Ellen Stewart), Twisted, and A Shift of Opinion. Currently, Mari is pursuing her MFA in Dramaturg/Script Development at Columbia University and completed her undergraduate studies at NYU Tisch ’24.

The Job

Mari and Briana schedule meetings, plan events, and coordinate guest visits for the Dramaturgy students for Christian, the head of the Dramaturgy Concentration.
